Doris Mae Molitor age 74 died peacefully in her sleep on Friday Nov. 13, 2009 at Maplewood in Sauk City, WI.



Dori was born at home on March 28, 1935 in Paulding, Mi. the daughter of Kasmier "Charlie" and Cecilia (Coshnet) Dembroski. She liked nature, especially birds. She always enjoyed gardening, playing games and collecting agates. Dori cherished her family, also loved to meet people, and formed friendships easily.



She was united in Marriage to Dean "Mike" Molitor on July 11, 1959 in Oconto Falls, WI. Dori earned progressively higher education degrees from Marinette County Teachers College (1956), University of WI in Oshkosh (1962), and Platteville (1980). Dori was an Elementary school teacher for many years. She taught at three Catholic schools in WI including St. Mary's. She also taught in Loveland, CO; Knoxville, TN; and Dickeyville, WI public schools. She utilized her Master's degree while employed as a guidance counselor at two Platteville area homes for troubled youth. She spent the last several years in Upper Michigan near her extended family and beloved Lake Superior.



Dori is survived by two children Michael (Janet) Molitor and Michelle Molitor; three grand children, Shane, Hannah and Elizabeth; her former husband; six siblings, Phil, Beverly (Keith), Mary (Earl), Larry, Cliff (Karen) and Donny (Betty); and many nieces and nephews.



She was preceeded in death by her parents; her sisters, Gloria and Geraldine; and her brothers, Robert and Charles "Charlie".



A memorial Mass will be held on Monday Nov. 23, at 10:30 AM at St. Augustine University Parish, 135 South Hickory Street, Platteville. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass on Monday at the Church.
