Doris Elizabeth Vieth, age 90, passed away at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie on Mar. 12, 2021.  She was born in Monroe Co., near Norwalk, WI on May 27, 1930 to the late Bert and Elizabeth (Vieth) Haldeman.  She attended and graduated from Norwalk High School and went on to attend and graduate from U.W. Stout in Menomonie in 1952, earning her BS in Home Economics.  Doris worked as a High School teacher in the Elroy-Kendall and Norwalk and Ontario school systems along with helping her husband on their Dairy farm and raising her children.  She was united in marriage to Robert Vieth on July 21, 1955; he preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 2002.

Doris is survived by her children, Bernice (John) Fromuth of Reading, PA., Charles (Corinne) Vieth of Sterling Heights, MI., Marie (Randy) Patterson of Sauk City, and David (Sarah) Vieth of Hiawatha, IA., 7 grandchildren, David (Alysha) Fromuth and their children, Flynn and Aiden., Danielle Fromuth, Joshua (Ola) Vieth, Ryan Vieth, Kyle (Michelle) Vieth and their son, Eli., Matthew (Emily) Patterson and their children, Sam, Ben, Lincoln and Jackson., Ashley (Tyler) Amacher and their daughter, Sofie.  Doris is further survived by her sister, Leora (Edwin) Walker.

In addition to her parents and husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elna Collinson.

As per Doris's wishes, burial will be held at Wanderer's Rest Cemetery in Norwalk, WI.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
