Dorothy V. Schauf, age 100, died Thursday July 31,2014, at Pine Villa, Prairie du Sac, WI, with her niece Gini Luther and Pine Villa director, Deb Pete by her bedside. She was born in Sauk City, on July 25, 1914, the daughter of the late John and Theresa (Jordan) Williams. Dorothy owned and operated Dorothy J's (formerly Irene's) Beauty Shop, for many years, until her retirement. She enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, cross-country skiing,fishing and all sports, was an avid golfer and world traveler. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Lake Wisconsin Country Club, Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the River Arts Center.

She is survived by her niece, Gini (Dick) Luther;
two nephews, Fred (Barb) Lemm and Charlie Lemm;
a great niece, Kristi (Mark Bussell) Lemm;
her step children, Mary Jane (Howard) Fellows,
Pam (Bruce)Pickens, Carol Carlson and Bruce Levanetz.

She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leo Jasper, J. Bernie Schauf and Roy Levanetz, a sister Irene Lemm and a brother, Roy, who died at birth.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Sauk City, with Father John Blewett officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held, from 10:30 until the time of the mass, on Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be given to the Sauk County Humane Society
