Dorothy M. Wendt, age 85, died Thursday July 3,2008 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Sauk City on June 20, 1923, the daughter of the late Anton and Meta (Meyer) Huerth. She was united in marriage to Walter Wendt on July 31, 1943 in Seattle, WA. Walter preceded her in death on March 9, 2008. Dorothy was a faithful member of the First United Church of Christ, Sauk City.

3 Grandchildren ; Scott Byers, Troy Wendt,and Tara (Kirk) Neuman
Sisters-in-law: Ethel Hutchinson, Edith Ladd, Audrey M. Wendt.
she is further survived by nieces,nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Lynn and 2 Sisters, Ardith and Phyllis.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the Sauk City Cemetery, Sauk City, with Pastor Dennis Weis officiating.
