Earl George Carpenter, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 24, 2014 doing what he loved, playing pool. He was born in Baraboo on January 11, 1953 to the late George and Anna (Kelley) Carpenter. Earl graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School in 1971. He married Evie Deininger on October 9, 1999. Earl enjoyed sports, especially the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Bucks, hunting and fishing, pool league, and was involved in Boy Scouts for many years. He worked in the canning industry for over 33 years, last with Seneca Foods in Ripon, retiring in June 2013.
He is survived by his wife Evie of Berlin; children, Peter Carpenter of Princeton, Frank Carpenter of Montello, Michelle Quilty-Anderson of Token Creek, and Beth (Ryan) Accola of Loganville; 8 grandchildren, Haile, Dallas, Kayla, Brianna, Megan, Lilly, Jaci, and Austin; a sister, Sally (Troy) Carpenter; other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Kenneth; and a daughter in-law, Deanna Carpenter.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy 14 West, Mazomanie. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
