Obituary
Edna D. Millis, age 101, passed away on Tues. Dec., 8, 2015 at Ingleside Nursing Home in Mt. Horeb. She was born Apr. 23, 1914 on the family farm in the Town of West Point to the late Henry and Theresa Dettman. Edna married Lester J. Millis in Feb. 1947; he preceded her in death in 1979. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation of Mt. Horeb.
She is survived by her sister, Adeline "Dolly" Mitchell of Prairie du Sac; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Bill, Herbert, Walter and Joe Dettman; 3 sisters, Verna Koepp, Martha Nelson, Helen Geier.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City, WI. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in the Mazomanie Cemetery at a later date.
