Edward "Ned" A. Drager

Mazomanie / Martinsville

Edward A. “Ned” Drager, age 70, died Aug. 11, 2026, at his family home in Mazomanie. He was born March 10, 1956, in Dodgeville, the son of the late Merle and Gail (Keyes) Drager. Ned spent his young life working for local area farms, Zander’s, Sear’s and Meili Farms and later going into construction until his retirement. Ned enjoyed travels with his buddy Donny, helping build KFC’s, creating many stories and memories from those days.

Ned is survived by his four brothers, Pat (Anita), Jesse (Donna), John, Merle (Dixie), one sister, Deb (Dan) Pertzborn. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Shelley Drager, Velma, Vernon and Mabel, his fur family, and his many nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon, her husband Roy, four brothers, Daniel, Mark “Doc,” Richard (Dick), Thomas (Tom), and sister-in-law Linda Drager.

Ned’s family wishes to thank Agrace for their care and support, a special thank-you to Johnny for his help, making it possible for Ned to remain at home.

We will have a private family meal, with a celebration of life at a later date.
