Edward W. Seitz of Pontiac, MI, passed away on December 28, 2015; age 89; he was born March 7, 1926 in Honey Creek, WI the son of the late Richard Seitz and Margaret Seitz Lintl; husband of the late Shirley M. Seitz; father of Edward A. Seitz (Diane); grandfather of Michelle, Kevin, Eric, Jaimie and many adopted grandchildren; great-grandfather of Lindsay, Emily, Stephanie, Kristin, Andrea, Evan and Isaiah; great-great grandfather of Desmond and Reymington; brother of Dorothy Sorg (the late John), Lola Sagami (Soya); the late Arthur Seitz (Donna), the late Virginia Bible and the late Steven Lintl (Linda); also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
Edward retired from Pontiac Motors after 30 years of service and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He walked four miles a day twice a day while he was able, was an avid coin collector and enjoyed woodworking.
A funeral service was held at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford, MI.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at the HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City, WI. A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm and from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at the funeral home and one hour prior the morning of the service. Burial will follow in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery; Military Rites will be accorded by the Lachmund-Cramer VFW Post 7694.
