Eileen M. Kraemer, age 73, left our worldly presence Monday, March 22, 2021, at her home in Crestview Florida where she lived with her best friend and pooch, Copper, from 2019 until the time of her death. Eileen was born October 3, 1947, the daughter of Floyd and Marie (Averkamp) Curtis. She was united in marriage to James Kraemer on September 5, 1966. She spent many years living in the Sauk Prairie area raising her family and spending time with them until she moved to Florida. She was a loving and proud Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Eileen retired from American Family Insurance after working there for many years. She also worked at Ho-Chunk later in life. She enjoyed traveling and visited many different states throughout her life. She also enjoyed visiting with anyone who would stop by, drinking coffee and watching Lifetime. She loved spending time with her family, her children, grand children and great grandchildren.
Survivors include two children; son Damian (Shelia) Kraemer; and daughter Donna (Tom Thering) Kraemer; grandchildren Kimberly Russell, Macenzie Kraemer, Tiffeny Russell, Kaela Kraemer and Tayler Kraemer; 4 great‑grandchildren; Kennedy, Brayson, Nash and Tennessee; brothers Ron (Sandy) Curtis and Dave Curtis; sisters Janet Line, Diane Noble, Barb (Don) Biddick and Alice (Mike) Daddario; step‑siblings Sue(Ron) Thole, Barbara (Ken) Thompson, Mike Winkler, Emily (Dave) Pitzen, Daniel Winkler and Vince Winkler; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her ex-husband, James Kraemer; son, Derrick Kraemer; step-mother, Gloria Curtis; sister, Judith Sorenson; and brother, Thomas Curtis.
In keeping with Eileen's wishes there will be a family grave side service on June 12, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Eileen's name to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer Association.
