Elaine R. (Klaetsch) Campbell, age 78, passed away October 10, 2024, at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born on October 1, 1946, the daughter of the late Fred and Rosella (Buelow) Klaetsch. Elaine grew up in the Leland, North Freedom, and Sauk Prairie areas. She attended Sauk Prairie Schools, graduating with the class of 1964. Elaine was united in marriage to Durward Campbell on October 4, 1980, in Baraboo. She was employed by Flambeau Plastics in Baraboo for many years.

Elaine enjoyed her cats, fishing, bowling and time spent being with her friends on her bowling leagues, loved to travel with her husband, on an occasional casino trip.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Durward and her grandchildren, Gregory (Elizabeth) Hankins and Amber Hankins; sister-in-law, Janis Klaetsch; son-in-law Randy Hankins; Great-grandchildren: Eila, Lee and Samuel Hankins; Daniel Gardner, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death her parents Fred and Rosella (Buelow) Klaetsch, a daughter, Jean (Van-Osdol) Hankins, a brother, Lester Klaetsch and a Former Husband, George (Mike) Clark

Visitation will be at Baraboo First United Methodist Church, Baraboo (615 Broadway St) at 10am on Friday October 25th, 2024. Service and Meal will follow at 11am. Grave Site service will start at 1:30pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom.
