Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Laufenberg, age 84, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Prairie du Sac on December 29, 1926 the daughter of the late John and Matilda (Bauer) Rosenbalm. She was united in marriage to Milton Laufenberg on June 12, 1948. Betty attended Sauk County Teachers College in Reedsburg, and taught at Fair Valley School. She was also employed as a teachers aid and cook at Sauk Prairie Schools for many years and also worked at Tarnutzers Garage in Prairie du Sac. Betty enjoyed needle work and her domino and card group. She was a lifelong member at the First Presbyterian Church in Prairie du Sac.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Milton of Prairie du Sac,
2 Sons: Jon (Cheryl MacDonald) Laufenberg, of Madison.
Mark Laufenberg of Clairmont, Florida.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her parents and 2 Sons, Michael and Jeffrey.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday , March 24, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church , Prairie du Sac, WI with Pastor John Smith officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Thursday at the church.
