IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ellen F.
Anderson
January 22, 1949 – February 11, 2026
Ellen Anderson, a devoted follower of Jesus and a steady source of love, laughter, and comfort, went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2026. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven from faith, creativity, music, and family—each thread reflecting a heart that loved deeply and gave generously.
Born with a gentle spirit and a joyful soul, Ellen found peace and purpose in her relationship with Christ. Her faith guided every step, every decision, and every act of kindness. She lived in a way that made others feel seen, supported, and cherished.
Crocheting was one of Ellen's greatest joys. Whether making blankets or gifts for loved ones, her hands were rarely still. Each piece she made carried warmth, patience, and love—much like the life she lived.
Country music filled her days, often becoming the soundtrack to spontaneous dancing in the kitchen or living room. Ellen never needed a stage or an audience; a good song and good company were more than enough. Dancing brought her joy, and she shared that joy freely with anyone nearby.
But above all, Ellen loved being surrounded by family. Gatherings—big or small—were her happiest place. They were the heart of the home, the steady presence who made every holiday brighter, every meal sweeter, and every moment together more meaningful.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents John and Bernice Mills, her siblings John (Michele) Mills, Steven Mills, Brenda Jones, Edward Mills, niece Shyanne Malone and granddaughter Leah Underwood. Her memory now lives on in the many who loved her: Brothers Fred (Diane) Mills, Billie (Lisa) Mills, sisters Jean Hetzel, Rosie Hutchinson, Mary (Mark) Pasholk, beloved children Gloria Schaller, Josie Schaller, Amberly (Chris) Nolan, Thomas Anderson, grandchildren Damion Nicoll, Jared Roberts (Carolanne Pauley), Ashley Hopp (Cory Peterson), Samantha Zantow (Zach Dorko), JT (Elle) Anderson, Harli Anderson, Hannah Anderson, great grandchildren Athena Nicoll, Silas Nicoll, Olivia Anderson, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Each one carries a piece of her legacy—faith, resilience, humor, and unconditional love.
Though her absence leaves an ache that cannot be filled, the imprint of her life remains in every story shared, every handmade blanket treasured, every song that sparks a smile, and every moment of family togetherness. Her love continues, steady and enduring.
"Well done, good and faithful servant."
