Obituary

Emily Frances Reisinger, age 98, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family ,on Monday, April 22, 2013 after a bout of melanoma. She was born January 16, 1915 in Nebraska, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Franta) Parker. She was united in marriage to Herman Reisinger on October 15, 1946. The couple met in Washington and became lifetime farmers in the town of Troy. Emily was a devout catholic and a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.


Survivors include three daughters, Mary Coenen, Jean (Clement) Thering and Jane (Tim) Hineline;
a daughter-in-law, Karen Reisinger;
eight sisters-in-law, Catherine Maier, Clara Pertzborn, Ann Maier and Helene (Vinnie) Dederich, Ann Reisinger, Leona Reisinger, Maurita Reisinger and Lucille Reisinger; a brother-in-law, John (Kay)Reisinger;
fourteen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Bernard; a grandson, Brian Hineline; a son-in-law, Clarence Coenen; a special sister-in-law, Sister Mary Bede; five brothers and another two sisters.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 26 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. on Friday at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City where the rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred for St. Aloysius building fund.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to St. Aloysius clergy, St. Jude Hospice, special friend, Arlene at the Meadows and to Mary, her daughter, for ten years of care in her home.
