Evelyn Mae Gorsuch, age 97, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.  She was born in Arlington, WI on Nov. 6, 1926, to the late Clarence and Marie (Meilke) Lanzendorf.    Evelyn graduated from Poynette High School in 1944. In her younger years Evelyn enjoyed Fishing, Bowling, playing cards and even Bow hunting. Evelyn loved to garden, bake, work in her yard and on her house, but her biggest joy in life was her family. Evelyn had several jobs in her lifetime including Maplewood Nursing Home from October 1976 to October 1991       where she enjoyed trying to brighten everyone's day!

She is survived by her 3 boys, Steve (Jan) Gorsuch, Jeff (Diane) Gorsuch, Michael (Tamara) Gorsuch; grandchildren, Mark Gorsuch, Tracy (Eric) Petersen, Scott Gorsuch, William Gorsuch, Michael (Katelynn) Gorsuch; great grandchildren, Jackson Gorsuch, Blake, Griffin, Sloan and Paige Petersen, and Rylan Gorsuch.  Evelyn is further survived by other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Gordon and her sister, Betty (Robert) Hook.

A private family service will be held with interment in the Greenwood, North Leeds Cemetery.

Evelyn was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac any memorials can be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church in Evelyn's name.
