Faith Marie Kelter, age 64, passed away at her home on Thur. Jan. 28, 2016. She was born May 17, 1951 to the late James and Lois (Zigler) Ward. Following her graduation from Janesville Craig High School in 1969; she moved to Madison to attend Cosmetology School. Faith married Alan Kelter on April 1, 1978; he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2012. She worked at Polynesian Clips, formerly Leo's Salon for almost 40 years. Faith enjoyed shopping, her girls weekends, reading, spending time with her family and her granddaughters.
She is survived by a son, Patrick (Sheena) Kelter and their two daughters, Emory and Elisabeth of Middleton; her daughter, Sara (Caleb) Matzke of Monroe; siblings, Kevin (Kathleen) Ward, Michael (Mari Jo) Ward, Kay (Gene) Rohlman, Jeanne Capelle, Phil (Diana) Tripke, Cindy (Jeff) Kersten, Larry (Annette) Tripke; brother in-law, Jim (Sharon) Kelter; longtime friend, Verna (Dave) Carlson and the Polynesian Clips Family; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Grace Ward, and a sister, Gloria.

A Visitation will be held on Fri. Feb. 5, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:30 pm at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City, WI 53583. A prayer service will follow at 7:30 pm. Interment will be held in St. Norbert's Cemetery, Roxbury at a later date.
