Florence M. Ballweg, age 96, passed away at the Pine Villa in Prairie du Sac on Dec. 18, 2017. She was born at home in Roxbury on July 3, 1921 to the late Norbert and Mary (Keleny) Breunig. She was a graduate of Sauk City High School; class of 1939. Florence was united in marriage to Ervin F. Ballweg on May 21, 1946; he preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1999. She and Ervin farmed in the Roxbury and Berry Townships until their retirement to Prairie du Sac in 1988. Florence was unconditionally devoted to her family and faith. She was a member of both St. Norbert and St. Aloysius Catholic Church's and an active member of the Council of Catholic Women. Florence enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining family and friends. She had an appreciation for music and loved tending to her flower gardens.

Survivors include her children, Jerilyn (Jeff) Pearcy, Gloria (Thomas) Wagner, Lois (Dan) Scott, Randy (Regina) Ballweg, Dale (Karen) Ballweg, Tim (Carol) Ballweg, and Brian (Kathy) Ballweg; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a brother in-law, Jim Hepola and sister in-law, Mary Breunig; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Mae Ballweg; two sisters, Bertilla Goeden and Bernadine Karls; and brother, Jerome Breunig.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Fri. Dec. 22, 2017 at St. Norbert's Catholic Church, Roxbury. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI. Interment will follow in the St. Norbert's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Florence's name.
