Florence B. Carlson, age 92, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at Maplewood Nursing Home, Sauk City. She was born on February 24, 1917 in Abbotsford, the daughter of the late John and Inga (Olson) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Lawrence E. Carlson on Oct. 1, 1936. The couple farmed in the Abbotsford area, retiring to Prairie du Sac in 1974.

She is survived by three children, Dale (Muriel) Carlson of WI. Rapids, Karren (Lauren) Raschein of Prairie du Sac and Lynn Carlson of Apache Junction, AZ; a brother, Gordon (Dorothy) Anderson of Dorchester; eleven grandchildren; and thirty-three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Beth Enge; two great-grandchildren; a brother; and two sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 2:00 PM at the Sauk Prairie Community Center, 730 Monroe St., Sauk City with Luther Raine and Stanley March officiating. Burial will follow in the Sauk Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday,
Dec. 7 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the community center following the graveside service.
