Frances M. Wipperfurth, age 84 passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at her home in Arena. She was born June 24, 1924 in Dodgeville, the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Nelson) Williams. She was married to Roman Wipperfurth on October 16, 1944.
Frances was an avid W.W.F., Brewers and Packers fan and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by five children, Jane Ann (Leo) Towsley of Richland Center, Bill (Karen) Wipperfurth of Arena, Ronald (Betty) Wipperfurth of Arena, Kenny (Arline) Wipperfurth of Abbotsford and Diane Wipperfurth of Arena; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Donald and Herb; and four sisters, Norma, Anna, Hazel and Jane; and two grandsons, Chad and Billy Joe. A funeral service will be held at Hooverson Funeral Home, Mazomanie, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2008 with Pastor Larry Pierce officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home, one hour prior to service. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in St. Michael's Cemetery, Dane.
