Obituary
Frieda Waldinger, age 101, passed away on December 5, 2016,at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Freedom township on February 2, 1915 the daughter Paul and Emma (Mahlke) Pagel.
She was united in marriage to Anton Waldinger in 1946. Frieda was a lifelong homemaker and farmer, in Troy township.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret; a sister, Laura Lynch, nieces, Betty Waldinger and Henrietta Volker; further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Anton, her siblings, Linda Burton, Alice Pagel and Paul Pagel.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Betty, John, Karla, Tracy and Joseph Waldinger for years of help and support as well as the staff at Maplewood Nursing home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 Oak Street, Prairie du Sac, WI, with Pastor Sally Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Sauk City Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday, from 9:30 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, The Salvation Army or to a charity of the donor's choice.
