Gary Grant Mundt Sr., age 69 died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison. He was born April 17, 1940 in Lake Mills, the son of the late Emil and Grace (Kraenke) Mundt. He is survived by five children, Tammie Mundt, Rodney Mundt, Gary Mundt Jr., Kim (David) Barrett, and Donald Mundt; two sisters, Debra (Noah Powell) Labrosse and Judy (Dan) Killian, Debbie Nelson; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; an aunt, Shirley Kottwitz; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (Aschenbach); two brothers, Duane and Darwin; and his step-father, Donald Cooper. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2009 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City.
