George A. Dahir, died of natural causes at the age of 64 in his home in Madison Wisconsin. He was a brilliant lawyer and doctor, working as a medical malpractice consultant.
George was born January 4, 1951 to parents Fred and Ethel Dahir, both deceased. He graduated from Sauk Prairie high school where he was valedictorian, quarterback of the winning football team and barefoot kicker. He excelled as a scholar especially in mathematics. George went on to get his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison and then his law degree at the same school.
George's favorite pastimes were home remodeling, gardening, golfing and spending time with his lifelong partner Joan Grosse. He is also survived by his brother Jim in Tampa Florida, John (Juli) in New Port Richey Florida, Katy (Pierre Andre) in Gabon Africa, and Sally (Steve Stoddard) in Highland Wisconsin.
George was an expert in all subjects. You could mention anything and he would have read several scholarly articles and could quote them. You disagreed with George at your peril as he, like his mother Ethel, was a genius. He commanded with his bright mind and incredible memory. After all, his father's nickname for him as a child was Moses.
There will be a private service at the Freethinkers' Cemetery in Denzer, Wisconsin. Services are pending for a memorial service in Madison. More information will be posted, when it is scheduled.
