Pauley
January 2, 1943 – May 2, 2024
George "Larry" Pauley, age 81, of Mazomanie passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was born Jan. 2, 1943 to the late Roy and Gwendolyn (Wallace) Pauley. He attended and graduated from Mazomanie High School. Following High School he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps., proudly serving his country. George married the love of his life, Monica Walker on Dec. 26, 1998.
George was a gifted and talented wood carver; a hobby he truly enjoyed, creating beautiful pieces of art from all types of wood. He shared his carvings with many people here and afar; a highlight for him was his wood carvings that now grace the Governor's Conference Room at the Wisconsin State Capital.
George is survived by his wife, Monica Walker; his children, Todd, Kimberley, Travis, and Jeff; Monica's girls, Juelanne and Jerilynn. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren; a sister, Leota Wallendal; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by siblings; Ronald Pauley, Roy "Gene" Pauley, Donald Pauley and a sister, Thelma Niederklopfer.
As per George's wishes no services will be held.
