Georgia Lee Simpson, 82, of Mazomanie, passed away on April 20, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital after a very fast battle with leukemia. She was born in Richland Center to Lester and Violet Ewers on July 16, 1932. She married Deverne Simpson on January 21, 1953. He was her best friend. They were blessed with four children, Monte Simpson (deceased), Lorna Simpson ,Lisa (Todd)Theis, and Michael (Jane )Simpson . She is also survived by her grand kids, Charity ( Brad ) Kirch, Amber (Luke) Schoenemann, Ashley (Jake) Meudt, Chad Theis and Makayla Simpson; great grandkids, Destiny and Darien Dean, Jaeger, Garin, Abrie and Brenly Schoenemann; sister and brother-in-law Jean and Harland Getter and their daughter Laurie; and sister-in-law Val Simpson; the Leatherberry family; her beloved dogs Razzi and Ava; and her extended family James and Nicole Kartman, Ivy, Ian, and Adi. Adi was mom's little shadow. She loved her little helper.

Mom ran Simpson's Cafe for many years, was also an Avon lady, then she stayed at home and started Nana's Day Care. Mom loved her kids and they loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, sister, niece, nephew , brother in law, and mother in law.

Mom, you will be forever in our hearts til we meet again, we love you. A private family service was held on April 23, 2015.
