Geraldine "Geri" Wells, age 78, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 24, 1931, the daughter of the late Gordon and Bessie (Rouse) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Robert Wells on January 31, 1953. She worked with her husband in business which included the Cutter Inn, Kabar Inn and Bob's Outlet. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, golf and trips to casinos. Their last business, Bob's Outlet is currently being operated by their son, Shaun and his wife, Lori. She is survived by her husband, Bob; five sons, Eugene, Guy (Maureen), Mark (Terri), Brad and Shaun (Lori); a sister, Louise Svoboda; eight grandchildren, Beth, Nick, Travis, Emily, Lexi, Jake, Grace and Caslin; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin; a sister, Lorraine; and a grandson, Josh. A private funeral service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Hooverson Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Collins officiating. Friends may call at Hooverson Funeral Home, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009.
