Obituary
Gladine Redel, long time resident of the rural Sauk City area, passed away February 10, 2015 at Maplewood Nursing Home. She was born October 2, 1929 to Daniel and Cecil (Bills) Ott in Cassell Prairie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and their wives, Daniel Jr. and Lorain (Werla) Ott and Robert and Betty (Willey) Ott; a sister and her husband, Genevive and Robert Galston; and her husband, Robert Redel. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their extended families.
Gladine had a special fondness for the out-of-doors. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and especially the picking of wild fruit. Her stories of harvesting apples, black berries, and strawberries were nearly legendary. Her wonderful laughter and smile will truly be missed around all of the holiday dinner tables. May she always rest in peace.
A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Burial will be in Cassell Prairie Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
