Obituary
Gordon G. Schara Jr., age 71, passed away on Wed. Dec. 23, 2015 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. He was born May 1, 1944 in Baraboo, WI the son of the late Gordon G. and Lonita (Meyer) Schara Sr. Gordon was a bricklayer and worked in Madison and the surrounding area for many years. He enjoyed watching his grandson play for the Sauk Prairie Twins, shooting pool, and cheering on the Packers.
Gordon is survived by his 2 sons, Kurt (Stacy) Schara and Craig Schara; 3 grandchildren, Chucky (Katie Sopha) Schara, Sterling Schara, and Stephanie Sanders; 1 great granddaughter, Evelyn Louise Schara; and a a sister, Bev Frey.
A private family service will be held.
