Gregory "Greg" Allan Pete, age 54, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 at U.W. Hospital in Madison.  He was born Jan. 4, 1971 in Richland Center to Dennis B. and Frances (Ryman) Pete.

Greg went on to work at Oscar Mayer in Madison for over 15 years and later at Melster Candy Company in Janesville.  He made sure both company's ran efficiently and the equipment continued to run.  He enjoyed hunting in his younger years with his dad, guns and shooting, meeting up with his friends, and his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.  Greg always had a softspot for animals and enjoyed his mom's dog, Molly.

Greg is survived by his mom, Frances; brother, Ryan (Jordan); aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Dennis Pete in February and a sister, Carrie Jo; his paternal grandparents on the Pete side and maternal grandparents on the Ryman side.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Greg's life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 309 Water St., Sauk City, a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  A luncheon will follow.  Interment will be held in the Sauk City Cemetery.
