Gregory "Greg" J. Anderson, age 73, passed away at his home in Prairie du Sac on Aug. 10, 2023.  He was born in Baraboo on May 15, 1950 to the late Merlin and Harriet (Ehert) Anderson.  Greg graduated from Sauk Prairie High School; class of 1968 and attended University of Wisconsin/Baraboo-Sauk Co., and later enlisted in the United States Air Force.  He worked as a custodian at the University of Wisconsin, Madison Veterinary School and later as a motorcycle license test examiner for the Dept. of Motor Vehicles.  Greg loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding his 91 Harley Davidson Sturgis; and was a former member of the Sauk Prairie HOG chapter.  He could often be found in the company of his Dobermans; first Lady and then Raven.

He is survived by his siblings, David (Shirley) Anderson, Kris (Dale) Blacklock, and Kevin (Rose) Anderson; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a brother, John.
