Obituary

Harley H. Boettcher, age 79, died suddenly on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. He was born in Honey Creek on
April 2, 1930, the son of the late Herman and Alma (Krintz) Boettcher. He was united in marriage to Linda Pagel on August 25, 1962. He was U.S. Army veteran. Harvey was a lifetime Honey Creek farmer and a long time member of the NFO. He loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Leland. He is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Brian (Lisa) and Steve (Jeanne); a daughter, Kathy (Jon); two grandchildren, Ryan and Emily; two brothers, Leon (Patsy) and James; two sisters, Arleen Rudolph and Florence Spangler; other relatves and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Dale, and a sister Elvira. Funeral services will be held at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, Leland, at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2009 with Pastor Peter Heide officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2009.
