Hattie Marie Andrews, age 88, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Lodi Good Samaritan. She was born May 5, 1921 to the late Vaughn and Anna (Kinnett) Haugarth. She married George W. Harper and had three children, Steve, George "Wendell", and Roger. Hattie married Wesley Andrews May 20, 1953. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1989. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Harper of Donna, TX; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Harper, Sun Prairie;
8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband Wesley, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger Harper; a daughter-in-law, Sadie Harper; and a son, George "Wendell" Harper.

Hattie's family would like to thank the past and present staff of Lodi Good Samaritan for their excellent care, and her grand-daughter in-law Ygenia for all of her help. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 27 at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 251 Water St., Sauk City. Burial will be held at a later date in the Sauk City Cemetery.
