Helen Charlotte Hasheider, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Greenway Manor in Spring Green. She was born in Sumpter Township on April 2, 1919, to Valentine and Florence (Zshiegner) Accola. She was a graduate of Prairie du Sac High School. Helen was united in marriage to Marvin Hasheider on June 6, 1940 and together they farmed in Troy Township, Black Hawk. She was a member and choir member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Black Hawk and The Little Prairie Homemakers.
She is survived by five children, Louise (DeLorman) Enge of Lodi, Mary (Jim) Dorow of Reedsburg, John (Judy) Hasheider of Sauk City,
Gene (Dorothy) Hasheider of Spring Green and Steven Hasheider of Sauk City; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister in law, Lois Hasheider; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth (Ed) Kammers, Lorene (Orin) Brand, Irene (Carl Lipka, Fred) Kessler and Margaret (Andy) Anderson; two brothers-in-law, Ermin and Lowell (Rose) Hasheider; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Willard) Sprecher.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday , October 29, 2011, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Black Hawk, with Pastor Kendall Schlittler officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Hawk Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Saturday at the church.
