Helen M. O'Donnell, age 94, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Prairie du Sac on July 18, 1913, the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Ganser) Neumaier. She was united in marriage to Thomas J. O'Donnell on October 10, 1936. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1985. Helen, along with her husband, owned and operated O'Donnell's Truck and Body for many years. She loved gardening, cooking and going out to eat. In addition she enjoyed attending daily Mass and leading the Rosary. Helen was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and other christian organizations. She is survived by 7 children, Thomas E. (Marilyn) O'Donnell of Prairie du Sac, Mary Bronder of Lake in the Hills, Illinois, Sharon (Bernard) Uselman of Sauk City, Mike (Jane) O'Donnell of Sauk City, Bernard (Lois) O'Donnell of Sauk City, Pat (Margie) O'Donnell of Sauk City, Joan (Mike) Haas of Sauk City; 21 grandchldren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Roland (Jeanette) Neumaier of Woodstock, IL and Edward Neumaier of Prairie du Sac; sister-in-law Mary Neumaier of Biloxi, MS; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Thomas C. Bronder and 2 brothers, Roman and Maurice Neumaier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Sauk City, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2008 with Father Miguel Galvez officiating. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass, where the Council of Catholic Women will pray the rosary at 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
