Obituary

Imelda M. Kirch passed away April 5, 2010. Imelda (aka Mother Bear), was always there for her children, family, friends and neighbors. She was an innovative, creative, knowledgeable and extraordianry woman. A talented artist, she loved color....painting animals/wildlife, landscapes. She especially loved the Rocky Mountains. Imelda...she loved horses...whether she painted or rode, her spirit soared. Our Mom, our best friend. Our memories will be forever cherished. She will be remembered, loved and missed.

She is survived by 11 children, Frederick (Darlene) and daughter Ann, Walter II (Trudy) and children Walter III, Robin, Bill, Sara and Lindsy, Joe (Mary) and children Jeff and Craig, Randy (Terry) and daughter Jennifer, Linda (Brian) and children Joe, Tam, Kerry and Rob, Donna, Dale (Beth) and children Robert, Jason and Chrissy, Terry (Mary), Dennis and daughter Summer, Gary, Rick and daughter Ashley; and her infamous dog friend and companion, CoCo...Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Kirch; her parents; a brother, Arnold Schneider; a nephew, John Schneider; and great-grandchildren, Meagan and Courtney.

Please join the family at 9530 Dunlap Hollow Rd., Mazomanie, at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2010 to share and celebrate Imelda's life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mazomanie Public Library or the Sauk City Library.
