Inice Jenett Heintz, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Maplewood Nursing Home of Sauk Prairie. She was born in Clark County, Wisconsin on January 26, 1922 to the late Clarence and Jenny (Weist) Wilcox. She graduated from Avoca High School. Inice married Leo Heintz on May 3, 1959, he preceded her in death on January 9, 1984. Inice enjoyed the relationships she developed at Central Wisconsin Center while working there for over 25 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Prairie du Sac. Inice had a passion for quilting, which she shared with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Nick (Kathy) Lester, and Penny Hall; a sister, Vivian Gottschall; grandchildren, Craig Lester, Karen (Brian) Moser, Charlie (Julie) Hall, Susie (Will) Frey; great grandchildren, Andrew and Emma Lester, Gregory Moser, Clara and Sylvie Frey; special step grandchildren, Norene (Kenny) Jones and Mike (Vanessa) Heintz and their families; she is further survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son in-law Chuck Hall; a brother Grant (Ruth) Wilcox; and brother in-law Donald Gottschall.
A funeral service will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 with Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
