Iola G.Kamrath, age 87, died Friday October 31, 2008 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie. She was born on October 4, 1921 in Irish Valley in the Township of Honey Creek, the daughter of the late Fred and Susan (Barlen) Wilhelm. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Kamrath on February 3, 1942, he preceded her in death on April 22, 1987. She married Ludwig "Louie" Weber on October 29, 1989. Iola farmed in Troy Township for many years, and was an active member of First United Church of Christ . She enjoyed being involved with the Witwen Homemakers and many community activities. She loved spending time with her family
and traveling with her husband Louie. She is survived by her husband, Louie of Prairie du Sac; daughter-in-law, Gerri Kamrath of Sauk City; 2 granddaughters, Kelly (Craig) Breunig of Roxbury and Tracy (Dan) Breunig of Prairie du Sac; 6 great-grandchildren, Rich,Jordan,Heather,Morgan,Brittney,Chad; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Wilhelm and Verna Goerks of Baraboo, brother-in-law, Glenn (Adeline) Kamrath of Sauk City; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald "Mike" Kamrath and two brothers, Frederick "Fritz" and Roger (Betty) Wilhelm. Funeral services will be held at the First United Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2008 with Pastor Dennis Weis officiating. Burial will be in the Honey Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church on Monday from 9:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m..
