Isabelle Kalscheur Frost, age 100, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Maplewood Village. She was born in Cross Plains on November 6, 1912, the daughter of the late Henry and Louise ( Endres) Niesen. Isabelle was a loving Mother who enjoyed life to the fullest. She played Euchre, danced, sang, bowled and golfed.
A former President of the Christian Mothers, she played the organ in Church. An eternal optimist, with a beautiful sense of humor, Isabelle brought joy and happiness to everyone who knew her.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Lois (Andy) Nasser, Renee (Thomas) Smallwood and Debra (Frank) Cimmino; 3 sons, Dennis, Steven (Bonnie) and Kevin (Lisa) Kalscheur; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Rounick, Julia Nasser, Sean, Jake and Luke Kalscheur; 2 great-grandchildren, William and Matthew Rounick; 2 sisters, Doris Brockmann and Rose Heller; brother-in-law, Peter Donis; sister-in law, Rachel Kalscheur and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Norbert Kalscheur, Homer Andrews and Gordon Frost; a son, Darrell Kalscheur; 2 brothers, John Niesen and Wilfred Niesen; and 4 sisters, Mary Ann Schwarz, Mildred Donis, Lydia Pertzborn and Theresa Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST.NORBERT CATHOLIC CHURCH, Roxbury, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 with Fr. Alex Navarro officiating. Friends may call at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16. Private family inurnment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
