Jacqueline "Jill" Oliver, age, 77, passed away peacefully at Maplewood Nursing Home. Jill was born October 6, 1938 to John and Kathryn Oliver in Decatur, IL.
Early morning of December 3, 2015, Jill's " Mom and Daddy " took Jill's hands to guide her on her trip to Heaven. Jill will be missed and remembered by many friends and family for her contagious laughter and competitive spirit, and her love to dance and party "till the cows come home". She was also known to exaggerate the size of her fish, have a positive attitude with "I sure do" and sing along with her jukebox. A favorite game was playing Ants-in-the-Pants. She loved everybody that ever had the pleasure of crossing her path and had a kind word for everyone.
Jill is survived by her twin brother, Jack (Monnie) Oliver of Decatur, IL; her brother, Jim (Margie) Oliver of Rineyville , KY; her sister, Judy (Phil) Ray of Prairie du Sac, and numerous nieces and nephews;
special friends, Mary Carmichael (her best friend and ex-roommate) of Portage; Kathy Metcalf of Prairie du Sac, her very loving niece who was always there for her; Dan Maciosek of Poynette, who always had time and treated her as his own Aunt; Kaci and Travis Maciosek of Prairie du Sac, who were not only her niece and nephew but her friends who brought her countless joy to her everyday life and shared their many friends with her.; Alec and Isabelle Anderson of Prairie du Sac, who she claimed to be "her" friends and who visited her often and played games; and the entire Johnson family (Jerry and Cathy) and their many friends who considered Jill as a part of their family.
Services will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 4:00 pm at First United Church of Christ, Sauk City. Burial will be held at a later date in Decatur, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
