James Alan "Jim" Dailey, age 46, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at UW-Hospital in Madison, due to complications of cancer. He was born in Lancaster, WI on May 10, 1964, the son of the late Louie and Marie (Wilkinson) Dailey. Jim owned and operated Valley Tire in rural Mazomanie. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and spending time with his dog, Otis.
He is survived by his fiance, Barb Crull of Mazomanie; daughter, Jenelle Dailey of Mazomanie; his dog, Otis and cat, Cyrus; step-father, Paul "Pat" Crary of Richland Center; siblings, Eugene (Jane) Dailey of Spring Green, Rita (Steve) Blum of Dubuque, IA, Patty (Bruce) Orcutt of Dubuque, IA, Wayne (Lori) Dailey of Waunakee and Keith (Deana) Dailey of Richland Center; sister-in-law, Mary Dailey of Richland Center; special friends, Tony, Travis, Mike and Denny; other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Connie and brother, Gary.
A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie, from 9:00am until 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 7, 2011. Interment will be in the Mazomanie Cemetery at a later date.
