James (Jim) Robert Stuettgen, age 46, of Prairie du Sac, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. He was born on February 17, 1969 in Menomonee Falls, the youngest son of Robert and LaVonne (Donley) Stuettgen. Jim attended Menomonee Falls North High School, graduating in 1987. He was a veteran and served 4 years in the US Air Force, honorably discharged. Jim was a hard worker employed by General Heating as a Foreman since 2011 and had previously worked for NAMI for 20 years.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was loyal and dedicated to his family and will be remembered for his fun-loving antics. His boys will miss the devoted father he was to them. Jim was a dog lover who enjoyed spending time with Diesel and Lacey, and his late dog Sadie.
Jim is survived by wife, Lorie Stuettgen, who was looking forward to celebrating 25 years of marriage on September 15th. Also surviving Jim are his sons, Brody (Jenna Lovell) and Austin; parents, Robert and LaVonne (Donley) Stuettgen; sister, Kim Larson (Duane); brother, Bryan Stuettgen (Jami); nephews Brian and Brandon; nieces Kelsi and Taylor; great nephew Mason, and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Sunday, September 13th from 3:00 pm until 6:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 Oak St., Prairie du Sac. Military Honors will be accorded at 6:00 pm by the Lachmund-Cramer VFW Post 7694. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for Jim's favorite charity.
