Jamie D. Patterson, age 36, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 8, 2008 at UW Hospital in Madison. He was born in Sauk City on July 3, 1972, the son of Douglas and Wanda (Zimmerman) Patterson. Jamie was a stay-at-home Dad and enjoyed spending time with his children, and hunting and fishing. He is survived by his fiancee, Robin Roessler; two children, Jordan and Jacob Patterson; his parents, Douglas and Wanda Patterson; two brothers, Jason Patterson and Jeremy (Becky) Patterson; his grandparents, Eldon and Dorothy Zimmerman, and Janice Soelle; nieces and nephews, Nick, Aly, Seth, Simon and Lucas Patterson, and Griffin Frisch; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by and infant son, Cody; and his grandfather, LaVerne Patterson. A memorial service will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 with Fr. Michael Resop officiating.
