Janice O'Dell Beuthin, age 51, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Flint, MI on June 3, 1960, the daughter of Richard and Bernadette (Johnson) O'Dell. She was united in marriage to John J. Beuthin on December 24, 2005. Janice was the owner of O'Dell Hair Designs in Madison. She loved to travel, bake, garden, and drive her convertible. She was a member of Columbia County Corvette Club and Madison City Corvette Club.


She is survived by her husband, John; step-daughter, Heather (Shawn) Meicher of Vanderberg Air Force Base, CA; step-son, Travis Beuthin of Mazomanie; step-grandchildren, Samantha, Makayla and Chloe Meicher; mother, Bernadette O'Dell of Davison, MI; nine siblings, Rick (Martha) O'Dell of Davison, MI; Randy (Jill) O'Dell of Modesto, CA, Jeffrey O'Dell of Brighton, MI, Gregory O'Dell of Davison, MI, Karen Derwich of Westland, MI, Ginny (Jack) Kelts of Davison, MI, Nancy (Ray) Lindsay of Burton, MI, Peggy (Rodolfo) Diaz-Pons of St. Louis, MI, and Kelly O'Dell of Davison, MI; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin and Gloria Beuthin of Sauk City; brother-in-law, Fred (Virginia) Beuthin of Mazomanie; sister-in-law, Susan (Gary) Maxwell of Mazomanie; twenty-five nieces and nephews and adored them as if they were her children; special friends, Fran Fenske and Virgil Anderson; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard O'Dell.


A Funeral Service will be held at ST. JOHN EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 100 Oak St., Prairie du Sac, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 with Pastor Fred Rilling officiating. A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Mazomanie, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012.
