Obituary
Joan L. McKeown, age 65, passed away on Thur. Jan. 7, 2016 at Upland Hills Hospital and Hospice in Dodgeville. She was born Sept. 24, 1950 to the late William and Gladys (Spears) McKeown. Joan enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, collecting salt and pepper shakers, and spending time with her dog, "Pepper".
She is survived by her son, Shannon (Mari) Wipperfurth and their three boys, Mason, Gavin, and Rowen of Spring Green, and her daughter, Angela (Neal) Wipperfurth-Rynes and their children, Desirae, Haley, Kadin, and Treston of Avoca; a brother, Robert "Buddy" (Laverna "Doney") McKeown. She is further survived by other friends and relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Shane Wipperfurth and a brother, Jerry McKeown.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 5:00pm on Wed., Jan. 13, 2016 at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy 14 West, Mazomanie. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the time of service.
