IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joann M.

March 5, 2021
JoAnn Mary Pfeifer, of Leland Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on March 5 th , 2021 at the age of 68. She was born to Sidney and Dorothy (Repka) Brechtl and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, graduating from East High School in 1970. On June 18 th in 1983 she married Richard Pfeifer and her family moved to their home in Leland. JoAnn loved being here more than anywhere else.
She loved raising her family, gardening, and running her small business in the beautiful South Baraboo Range. She had strong familial roots here with much of her family having settled in the area. JoAnn really enjoyed connecting with this extended family. She cherished and loved her grandchildren more than anything else. She adored her family and friends and always welcomed them into her home. JoAnn always had a warm home and food for the many pets that adopted her. "Jojo" was known for her warmth, optimism, joy, and kindness. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her children: Jenifer (Jason) Gaspar, Sean (Dinelli) Monson, Nathan (Ellen) Monson, and son-in-law Eric Johnson; her siblings Dianne, Tony "Slug" (Lisa), Brad (Irma), and Tom; her grandchildren Danielle, Dylan, Savannah, Saoirse, Sohana, Rowen and Leland; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and too many friends to name.
She is preceded in death by her husband "Rick," her daughter Andrea, her parents Sid and "Dotty," and her sister Lori.
In honor of JoAnn and to protect the health and well-being of all of her friends and family, a celebration of life will held at a later date.
