Obituary

John A. Amble, age 71, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at his home. He was born in Black Earth on July 13, 1939, the son of the late Carl and Adeline (Peterson) Amble. He was married to Judy Anderson on August 31, 1964. John was employed at Decar and was the owner / operator of Tri-Us Masonry. He was an avid horseshoe pitcher and card player.


He is survived by a son, Brian (fiance Ellen Yelk) Amble; two daughters, Lisa (Tim) Albrecht and Brenda (Ed) Feick; six brothers, Roger (Ellen) Amble, Charles (Judy) Amble, Richard (Rosalyn) Amble, Kenneth (Roxanne) Amble, Gary (Phyllis) Amble, and Les (Trisha) Amble; two sisters, Lorraine (Gerald) Ihm and Sharon (Vern) Marten; five grandchildren, Danielle, Michele, Michael, Tanisha and Tanya; two great-grandchildren; Russell and Sarah Rose; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, Marsha Amble and Christine (Richard) Broadwell, a brother, Lolly Amble and an infant grandson, Tony.



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25 at Hooverson Funeral Home, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie with the Rev. Larry Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in the Arena Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24.
