John went home to Heaven on Aug. 8, 2021. He grew up in Mazomanie and graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School. He went onto become a long term employee of the University of Wisconsin where he later took early retirement to enjoy family time and traveling.  John was all about family and was always around to lend a hand or some good advice.  He also volunteered at Habitat For Humanity for many years.  Anytime there was a need, John was always there.

He is survived by his children Tanner (Jenna) Eveland and Cassidy Millard Konan (Antoine).  Two grandchildren who were the  sparkle of his eye,  Quinn Eveland and Jerome Millard.   He is further survived by brothers Dan (Linda), Ben (Jane) and sisters Becky (Randy) and Sandy Ditsch. He also had many loving nieces and nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Caryl Eveland and an infant grandchild, Delano John.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date as John wished. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the local Habitat For Humanity or the American Red Cross.
