"Jack" Frosch

John Donald "Jack" Frosch, age 75, of Sauk City, died on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at his summer home on Nelson Lake in Hayward. He was born in Sauk City on March 6, 1936, the son of the late Donald J. and Helen J. (Keller) Frosch. On June 9, 1956 he married the love of his life, Charlene Curnow. Fishing was his passion, Pabst was his fashion. Jack was a Ford service manager/mechanic, farmer, Jack-Of-All-Trades, master of all. He was a Sergeant in the Baraboo National Guard 32nd INF Division for 20 years.
He is survived by his wonderful wife, Charlene; four children, Patti (Scot) Haselwander, Dawn Frosch, Greg (Teryl) Frosch and Tim Frosch; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren (and another coming in October); his sister, Donna J. (Tom) Breunig; three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Frosch, Charlotte (Zeke) Ramsey and Barb (Terry) Tabor; many frogs (Frosch's); other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James K. Frosch; sister-in-law, Kay Miller; and again, many other frogs.
A memorial service will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011 with Pastor Dwight Pulsfus officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Military rites will be accorded by Lachmund-Cramer V.F.W. Post 7694.
