Obituary
John T. Magdars, age 82, of Merrimac, formerly of North Brook, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
John was a champion sail boater with many trophies and loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. John visited the Baraboo area as a child and started camping and bringing his own family to Devils Lake when he got older. His love for the beauty and history of this area brought him back to retire.
He is survived by a son, Robert (Sandy) of Orem, Utah; a daughter, Susan (Mike) Damitz of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother, Ed (Carolyn) of Wake Forest, NC; and two nephews.
At John's request, there will be no services held.
