John H. Morrow, age 82, died September 11, 2015 at UW Hospital, Madison. He was born on September 18, 1932 in Mazomanie to the late Hector and Hazel (Rohr) Morrow. He married the love of his life, Caroline Beuthin on May 11, 1957. John was employed by Mendota Mental Health Institute for 42 years. He later enjoyed working with his special brother in law, Dan Beuthin, who owns Dan and Sons Painting.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline; 3 children, Donald (Marilyn Stieneke), Jeffery (Kathy Portzen) and Brenda (Fred) Schweitzer; 6 grandchildren , who were near and dear to his heart, Christopher, Genevieve (Matt Stockinger), Sarah, Laura, Joshua and Jacob Schweitzer; 1 sister, Doreen Wages; 1 sister in law, Carol Morrow.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Hugh, Herman, Ardys Beulow and Donald.


A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac, WI with Pastor Fred Rilling officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Dane Township. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or St. John's Lutheran Church.
