Obituary

John Noltner, 59, of Prairie du Sac, WI passed away peacefully on January 12th following a brain tumor diagnosis, while listening to Johnny Cash his favorite country singer. He was born Nov. 1st 1964 in Prairie du Sac, WI to Ken and Millie (Haas) Noltner. For the past 4 years John lived in a group home in Reedsburg, WI. He enjoyed his independence and new found friends.

John went through the Sauk Prairie school system that prepared him for a 30-year career at VARC Incorporated in Reedsburg, WI. John participated in the Special Olympics and loved bowling where he brought home many trophies and medals for his efforts. You would also find John cheering on the local Sauk Prairie Twins Home Talent Baseball team and his favorite player Jim. He also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and UW Badger sports. John had an infectious smile and loved to engage in conversation and would greet everyone with a big hand shake. He rarely forgot a name.

John is survived by his father Ken, siblings Joe (Karla), Jim and Judy (Herb) Breunig. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Millie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dorf Haus, 8931 County Hwy Y, Roxbury on Saturday, Jan. 20th from 10am-12:00 pm followed by a luncheon. A private interment will be held at a later date.

John's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Divine Nursing Home in Lodi, WI and the Agrace Hospice Team for helping in John's care.
