December 3, 1951 – January 18, 2026

John grew up in Madison and graduated from Madison Memorial High School. Following high school, he traveled out west, but returned home to join his dad, Harry in Mazomanie doing drywall and painting. Together John and Kathy enjoyed over 37 years together before she passed on Nov. 4, 2017. John enjoyed his time spent on the golf course, Tumbledown, Pleasant View and Lake Wisconsin to name a few favorites along with fishing throughout the years. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his unique knowledge and useful facts he shared with family and friends, and the many crossword puzzles he conquered.
John is survived by 2 sons, John Huseby and his son, Johnathan; Don (Tricia) Griffin and their children, Devin and Kylee; a sister, Doreen Sipes, brothers, James and Gary Ringstad, along with two sisters-in-law, Kris Mabin (Randy Troendle) and Tammy Parkin. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
